HI,

What did everyone or is everyone having as their recessional music? I am lost as to what to have. Would prefer a modern song=.

I have no idea. We just can not decide! Also for the Bridal Waltz...no idea. The only song we have any sort of connection with is "working class man" by Jimmy Barnes (as that was on when we met in a country pub!). No way would we be having that.

I like Ava Maria, and there are so many versions of that to choose from.

Nothing compares to the traditional "Here comes the Bride". As the music blasted out when I walked down the isle the impact it had on the guests was fantastic. Come on girls, you go to all this trouble and expense to look and feel amazing on your wedding day, don't walk down the isle to wussy love songs, make a statement!!

I am a wedding entertainer, and I have played many weddings, some of which required music for the entrance of the bride.

I can take most contemporary songs and arrange them acoustically so they sound just amazing. 1 or 2 guitars and a vocal really is different.

For example, I played at a wedding 333 Collins street, an amazing wedding venue acoustically. ( and aesthetically )
I played an acoustic version of "This is the first day of my life" by bright eyes. Amazing song, the hairs were stood up on the back of my neck !

Acoustic version of chasing cars by snow patrol, for the first dance.
Acoustic duo for the main event bringing all you fav party songs.

Its not for everyone, but its an idea.

Have a look at my website.
